Kristin Devereaux didn’t set out to build a firm. She set out to fix something broken.
After more than two decades inside the world of HR, employee benefits, and compliance, she had watched too many executives absorb costs they couldn’t fully see, turnover tied to benefits nobody understood, compliance exposure from policies nobody maintained, and HR operations held together with spreadsheets and good intentions. She knew what it cost them. So, she built a better way to solve it.
Envision Benefits Group is the result. A full-service HR consulting, employee benefits brokerage, leave management, and payroll firm headquartered in Buffalo, NY, serving businesses of all sizes across the United States. As President and Founder, Kristin doesn’t just oversee the firm. She runs strategy, drives platform development, manages client relationships, and handles legal and financial operations, because when you build something from the ground up, you understand every corner of it.
Her specialty is integration and connection, and the financial case for it. Where most executives see HR as a cost center managed by vendors, Kristin sees a function that, when built right, reduces liability, controls benefits spend, and scales without adding headcount. That conviction led to the development of EnvisionSOLA, proprietary technology designed to connect HR, benefits, compliance, onboarding, and leave management all in one place. She built it specifically for organizations that are done paying for fragmentation.

Kristin holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation and has served in board leadership roles with the Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association, the New York State SHRM Council, and the Western New York Chapter of the National Human Resource Association. She currently serves on the board of St. Mary’s School for the Deaf. Envision Benefits Group is a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in New York State.
